The Meux Home Museum
is located on the corner of Tulare and R Streets in downtown Fresno
and is within walking distance of the Fresno Convention Center, St.
Johns Cathedral and the Amtrak Station.
The Meux Home Museum is also
featured in the Guide of Historic Architecture.
The Museum is open
to the public on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Hours of operatioin
are from 12:00 noon to 3:30 PM.
Prices of admission are:
Adults $5.00
Juniors $4.00 (13 to 17)
Children $3.00 (5 to 12)
Under 5 free
Parking
Free parking is available for the guests on the north side of the building.
Disabled Visitors
The first floor of the Museum is fully accessible to the disabled. A
wheelchair lift was added during the restoration of the museum to accommodate
disabled persons. However, due to the construction and design of the
Museum, the second floor is not accessible for our disabled guest. The
Museum has compiled a photo album of the second floor for viewing.
American Association of Museums
With proof of membership, members of the American Association of Museums
will be admitted free of charge to the Meux Home Museum as per the American
Association of Museums Admissions Policy Guide.
The museum is available
for school tours, and private tours of ten or more during the week.
